Portfolio II Mishap – Conversation with Professor

Today (March 22, 2001), after waiting just over 24 hours for my University of Phoenix Portfolio II professor to return my phone call of concern, I called her again. She called me back minutes later and remark “I did not call you back because I have nothing to say to you.” I asked her for an explanation for the negative commentary and failing grade she gave me, to which she replied, “My job is already done. I have nothing more to do with you.” She refused to provide any explanation.

I feel academically raped. I have worked very hard, earning all “A”‘s, forking out gobs of loan money, to be mailed a letter stating that I failed my Portfolio II class in which I worked just as hard at as I have been from my start of the program (March of 2010).

Currently I am waiting to hear back from my University of Phoenix student mentor regarding the emails I sent her today containing the proof that something strange is going on.

One Response to Portfolio II Mishap – Conversation with Professor

  1. Terry Harrison says:

Wow! What a shock. How can a supposed reputable learning institution, financially draw you into a program, award you high grades and accolades in the first year, and then in one subjective assessment, discontinue your admission – completely disregarding the education they just gave you. Unbelievable! Me thinks this has the smell of fraud. I might consider litigation if they don’t see the stupidity of the situation. Based on your last post, it almost sounds personal. I would definitley pursue this to the highest court.
